Hi spud lovers! Doug from the Potato Appreciation Club checking in to say a massive thank you for visiting our humble corner of the internet.

First off, apologies for the slight delay in getting the full site up and running. We had originally planned to host everything locally (on a small potato-powered server, naturally), but decided at the last minute to move things to the cloud — and, well, let’s just say things got a bit mash-ed up in the transition. Unfortunately, we closed the Facebook page a little prematurely, as we genuinely expected the new site to be ready by now — but it turns out even the best-laid spuds take time to sprout.

Some functionality — like the news section and photo gallery — should be planted soon, but most features (including the forums and membership info updates) will be rolling out early next year.

In the meantime, memberships can still be renewed and updated in the usual way — just as you’ve always done!
